VIVIAN PAPAIRAKLI

Vivian Papairakli was born in Athens, Greece. She obtained her law degree (LL.B) from the Law Faculty of the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece and a master of laws degree (LL.M) in Maritime Law from the Law Faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her thesis was on “ The position of the actual carrier in Transport Law”.

Her main areas of expertise focus on maritime, civil and commercial law issues, including registration of vessels in various jurisdictions, maritime labor issues, corporate structuring, as well as preparation of contracts and agreements 

respectively. She advises clients both nationally and internationally, including shipowners, ship managers and charterers and represents their interests in all legal matters regarding the negotiation and execution of ship Sale and Purchase agreements (S&Ps), Charterparties, Memorandum of Agreements and other commercial agreements.

Vivian is also involved in litigation by reviewing documentation, drafting lawsuits and pleadings and preparing files to be submitted on Court. She speaks Greek and English.
