In the field of Energy and Environment, our Firm has grown rapidly in the last five years and provides a global range of activities and consultation advising on all aspects of the energy related projects with particular emphasis on the renewable energy field (solar, wind, hydro, biomass and geothermal) with great success to local and international investors.

We particularly cover all issues of the regulatory framework, compliance and project finance related legal work and transactions and we have been actively involved in many cross-border energy projects of national importance. We are proud to note that we were of the leading law firms in Greece that we provided full and comprehensive services on the solar energy projects at the very early stage of the then new law 3468/2006 RES legislation and we then went on rapidly during the forthcoming years.

Litigation in connection with energy related disputes and failure to comply with the licensing procedures
Advising on forest protection issues, participating in the relevant committee for the forestry disputes with particular emphasis on the (de) characterization of a territory as a forest territory
Advising on solid waste management, recycling and energy production from biomass projects through Public Private Partnerships in various parts of Greece and participating in the relevant tendering proceedings in all phases
Advising on water desalination concession projects in Greece and Cyprus

Effecting the corporate structure, advising, monitoring and completing the licensing procedure deal of € 800M for a major USA / English Group for the installation of 168MW solar (photovoltaic) parks all over Greece
Participating jointly with a leading English law firm for the buying out by a USA / English corporation of a major foreign company in the PV sector
Securing land sites for a foreign energy group of 4.000 acres in Thessaly, Greece for the installation of 60MW solar (photovoltaic) parks
Advising, effecting and making available the due diligence process deal of € 250M for a major
Greek energy company for the acquisition of 121MW wind parks in North Greece
Advising, monitoring and completing the licensing procedure for a Greek RES energy leader for the installation of 48x80KW pieces of photovoltaic parks in Crete
Advising and monitoring the project finance procedure in connection with the installation of
174MW wind parks in Evia, Greece for a major Greek joint venture corporation
Advising, monitoring and completing the licensing procedure and the due diligence report, in
respect to a Canadian energy company investment in the geothermal field
