Ioanna was born in Patras, Greece. Her areas of practice are maritime law, corporate and litigation including charter parties, carriage of goods by sea, collision, salvage, S&P and shipbuilding contracts. Her main area of expertise focuses on marine insurance, environmental law, joint ventures, merger and acquisition. She has also focused on maritime casualties and transportation. She has also considerable experience in general civil law issues.
Ioanna holds and LL.B from Athens University (Faculty of Law). She also has educational experience in the United Kingdom, holding an LL.M in maritime law (University of Southampton). She has attended several international and shipping law seminars both in Greece and abroad and has focused on marine casualties, carriage of goods by sea and ship arrest. Ioanna is a multilingual professional speaking English, French and Italian.
